6K a year 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago The Chauffeur is responsible to enhance the overall Resident experience through the provision of exceptional oversight and implementation of the Facets program, providing the residents opportunities for participation through transportation.
This is to be handled in The Sterling Touch friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner, resulting in a very high level of Resident satisfaction.
This position is under the general guidance of the Director of Facets, in accordance with Community standards, processes, procedures, practices and philosophy.
Essential Functions:
Participate in Start Sterling! line up every day.
Chauffeur greets the Residents, guests, fellow employees and vendors in a friendly and courteous manner.
Chauffeur drives van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs and in accordance with scheduled appointments and Facets calendar of events.
Providing the residents opportunities for participation in transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips.
Chauffeur coordinates with the Director of Facets or Facets Assistant in supporting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.
).
Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
Clean and wash vehicle; housekeeping duties on bus as required.
Other duties as required.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required.
Licenses or certificates:
Valid Driver's License in the state of Florida.
Schedule:
Part-Time Hours Friday to Sunday.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
